Corrections and updates

Help us keep router guides accurate

Found a mistake or an outdated router detail? Prepare the page URL and a clear correction without sharing private credentials.

What to include in a correction

  1. The exact RouterGuide page URL.
  2. The sentence or step that appears incorrect.
  3. A short explanation of the correction.
  4. The router brand and model only when it is relevant.

Never include

Do not send private access information. Never include a router username, password, Wi-Fi password, public IP, MAC address, serial number, account number, or screenshot containing private network data.

Current contact process

This first release does not include a login-protected contact form or a system that stores messages. Correction requests should be prepared with the information above and shared through the project owner’s designated contact channel when one is provided.

What happens next

A correction is reviewed against the page purpose and the relevant router or network context. A change may be made when the information is clear and verifiable; not every suggestion will be accepted as a universal rule.
